SMW 015: Being Converted to Jesus Christ Through Small and Simple Experiences || Courtney Lee

Have you ever questioned your conversion because you haven’t had a huge, miraculous spiritual experience? If so, then you’ll totally relate to my guest, Courtney Lee.

Courtney shares how she has always had a natural trust in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She talks about how she doesn’t feel like she’s had huge moments where she has seen and felt Them. Instead Courtney says she has seen them in small tender mercies with experiences such as miscarriages and moving.

You’ll also hear how Courtney uses the gifts God gave her to express her love to the Savior. She shares about her artwork and reads a beautiful poem she wrote after her second miscarriage about how God shows up in her life.

Journal Questions

Spiritual experiences are not always big, miraculous events. How have you seen and felt the Jesus in your journey in small and simple ways?

Courtney shared how reaching out to her relief society sisters helped her through a miscarriage. Is there a struggle you are experiencing that you are keeping from others?  Is there someone you could share with who could help you bring light to your challenges?

Courtney shared how she uses art to express her love to Jesus. What are the gifts you were created with? How can you use your unique gifts and talents to express your love to the Savior?
