SMW 020: How Knowing Your Infinite Worth Will Help You Love Your Body || Trish Braunersrither

Although Trish Braunersrither has been a wife and mother for many years, she says her full-time job for most of her life has been trying to shrink her body.

In this interview, Trish shares how disordered eating affected every area of her life for over 30 years. She talks about how she always felt broken in her own body and how she turned to dieting to help her feel whole.

Trish discusses how she was finally able to break the cycle of dieting and turn to God for help. She shares how focusing on the Word of Wisdom, turning to the Savior to understand her infinite worth and expressing gratitude helped her love herself and her body.

How do you view your worth in relation to the size of your body? How can you truly embrace that your worth is infinite and does not change with the size of your body?

Trish discussed that when she feels pulled toward Satan’s path of loathing her body, she visualizes herself changing paths and pointing herself towards the Savior. How can you rely on Jesus to help you love your body?
